The month of Rabi-ul-Awwal has been blessed with four great events associated with the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam. His blessed Birth, His passing away, The completion of Hijrah and the evolution of the major signs of His Prophet hood.
It is said that at the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam , the Ka’ba prostrated towards his birth place or towards Maqam-e-Ibrahim.
The Me’raj of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam took place in Makkat-ul-Mukarrama in the 12 year after proclaiming prophet hood. It was the night before Monday on the 27th day of Rajab.
On Me’raj the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam travelled from Makkah to Masjid Aqsa on Burraq , then towards the heavens on the wings of Angels, then towards Sidrah on the Wings of Hazrat Jibr’eel , then towards Arsh on Raf-Raf.
On Me’raj the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam lead the prayers of all the Prophets at Masjid Aqsa and of the Angels in the skies.
At Me’raj
the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam listened to ninety thousand words
from Allah the Al Mighty.
At Me’raj the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam witnessed Hazrat Yunus Alaihis Salam in the stomach of the fish and Hazrat Moosa Alaihis Salaam in his grave praying Namaz.
The Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam was honoured thirty four times with Spiritual Me’raaj.
The Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam has been addressed 11 times as ‘Ya Aiyuhan Nabi’ in the Holy Qur’an.
The two personal names of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam are ‘Muhammed’ and ‘Ahmed’ and his attributes are anywhere from 200 to 2000
The name ‘Muhammed’ appears four times in the Holy Qur’an and the name ‘Ahmed’ once.
According to Islamic Law it is Fard upon a Muslim to recite a Durood Sharif once in his life.
It has been stated in the Hadith, that to recite ‘La Ilaha Ilallah’ eliminates 4,000 sins.
The Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam has stated that if a person kisses his thumb and touches his eyes, whilst listening to his name in the Adhan, then that person will never be blind.
Imam Jalaluddin Syuti reports that the first person to shorten ‘ Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam’ after the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam’s name, had his hands cut off by Islamic Jurists.
The famous Durood-e-Taaj was written and presented by Hazrat Syed Abul Hasan Shazli when he visited Madina Munawwarah.
It is stated in Mathnawi Sharif that the reason why the juices produced by the bees are sweet unlike other insects is that they pray Duroods while carrying it.
Durood Sharif is the ‘Mehr’ given by Hazrat Adam on his marriage with Hazrat Hawwa .

Flies never sat on the Blessed clothes or the Enlightened body of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam.
In Arabic there are four letters in the word ‘Allah’ , four letters in the word Muhammad’. There is no dot on the word ‘Allah’ as well as ‘Muhammad’ .

Hazrat Muawiyah made a ‘will’ that the Blessed Hairs and Nails of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam he possessed be kept in his shroud, eyes and mouth after his death.
Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed said he never lost a battle as never fought without that hat which had the Blessed Hair of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam placed in it.
Hazrat Aisha had one of the upper garments of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam. She dipped that in water to cure illnesses of people.
Hazrat Jabir put his table-spread in fire in order to clean it, because he said it doesn’t burn as the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam had touched it once.
The Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam had three swords : Zulfiqar, Maasoor , Tabaar.
The Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam has said that whoever dreams of me has indeed seen me as the satan cannot take up my shape.
Seventy thousand angels visit the Blessed Grave of the Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam in the morning and the same number evening to pay their respects. And they never get a chance to visit again.
The Holy Prophet Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam said that if a person writes my name followed by Durud Sharif, the angels pray for his forgiveness till the writing remains.

After the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) the highest status is that of Hazrat Ibrahim then that of Hazrat Moosa then Hazrat Isa then Hazrat Nooh (AlaihimuSSalam).
Hazrat Ibrahim AlaihiSSalam was put into the fire of Namrud at the age of 16.He was in there for 40 days,unharmed! With the Command of Allah the fire turned into a garden.
Hazrat Sayyedna Ismaeel (AlaihiSSalam) lived for hundred and twenty three years.
When Hazrat Sayyedna Ibrahim (AlahiSSalam) prayed Namaz , his heart boiled with the fear of Allah, which could be heard 2 miles away !
The Angels prostrated to Hazrat Adam (alaihiSSalam) on the Command of Almighty Allah on Friday from zawal till Asr.
After descending on earth, Hazrat Adam (alaihiSSalam),out of shame,never gazed upwards towards the skies for 300 years!
Before his arrival on the earth, along with other bounties, the language Arabic was also taken away from Hazrat Adam (AlaihiSSalam) and instead he was given the language ‘Siryani’.
‘Taboot Sakina’ was a golden box given to Hazrat Adam (alaihiSSalam) which contained images of all the Prophets.The image of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) was contained in red pearl!
When Hazrat Adam (alaihiSSalam) ate the prohibited grain, he tried to vomit it out. This was eaten by some insects and animals like snakes, scorpions and thus they developed poison!
The drop by which Hazrat Adam’s (alaihiSSalam) son Qabeel was created was made up of the prohibited grain and so Qabeel was the first person to introduce bloodshed and corruption on this earth!
Hazrat Adam (AlaihiSSalam) was born (created) in the last moments of Friday and was descended to the earth on the 10th of Muharram, 2792 years before the great flood of Hazrat Nooh (AlahiSSalam).
Hazrat Adam (AlaihiSSalam) was 60 metres tall and had an age of 1000 years.
Hazrat Adam (AlaihiSSalam) moved to Makkah Mukarramah 1854 years before the great flood of Hazrat Nooh (AlaihiSSalam). He had 40,000 children and grand-children in his lifetime!
The eras of Hazrat Adam (AlaihiSSalam) and the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) are 5575 years apart.

Ameerul Mu’mineen Hazrat Sayyeduna Imam Hasan (Radiyallahu Anhu) was poisoned 5 times which did not affect him. But the sixth attempt was lethal and he gained Shahadat.
It is well-known that whenever Hazrat Sayyeduna Ali’s (Radiyallahu Anhu) body was pierced with an arrow in a war, it would only be removed when he was in a state of Namaz.
The mother of Hazrat Sayyeduna Zainul Abedeen’s (Radiyallahu Anhu) son Hazrat Zaid Shaheed (radiyallahu Anhu) was from India.

At the time of his Nikaah Hazrat Sayyeduna Ali (Radiyallahu Anhu) was 21 years of age and Hazrat Fatimah Zahrah (Radiyallahu Anha) was just over 15 years.
The last child of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) was Hazrat Sayyeduna Ibrahim (Radiyallahu Anhu).He was born from Ummul Mu’mineen Hazrat Mariah Qutbiyyah (radiyallahu Anha).
Hazrat Ibrahim (Radiyallahu Anhu) the son of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) was born in ZilHajj 8 Hijri and lived for 17 or 18 months.
